Regardless of your status; whether you are unmarried or married, woman or man of any age, student or a child, there is a ministry designed just for you. Here at YUMC , we offer numerous ministry and service opportunities that allow us to work together and be a blessing to others as God intended.

More importantly, in this faith community you are encouraged to serve where you are called. Below is a list of several ministry and service programs supported by our congregation. Please contact us, if you are interested in volunteering with YUMC in programs to serve, uplift and encourage others, and/or interested in making a monetary donation in support of these programs. We welcome the opportunity to serve with you.

• Serve Locally
  (serving our homeless sisters & brothers at Jan Peek House and with Midnight Run, cooking ministry, Yorktown Community Help food bank, “first day of school” new clothing for kindergarten head starters, etc.)
• Youth Ministry
  (summer mission trip to repair homes with United Methodist Action Reach-Out Mission by Youth/UMARMY, Crop Walk, Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday, etc.)
• Serve Globally
  (flood buckets, hurricane relief, support of United Methodist Committee on Relief/UMCOR projects, etc.)
• Serving in Worship Opportunities
  (reader, usher, musical offering, communion server, media ministry, sponsor fellowship hour refreshments, etc.)
