Deep Blue Sunday School Kids, Families and Friends

It’s time for Sunday School – Calling all “Deep Blue Kids” to connect with God and explore families in the Bible. This year we’ll reconnect with our Deep Blue Pals – Asia, Edgar and Kat. We’ll take what you’ve learned in Sunday School and dive deeper into Bible stories. We’ll explore families in the Bible, learn how today’s faith families care for children, build loving relationships, and find out what it means to be a part of God’s family.

2019-2020 Curriculum
Preschool to 6th Grade theme this year is “Loving God, Loving Neighbor.” Grades 7th to 12th theme is “What I Need, God Has For Me God As Savior (Son).”

All children ages Pre-K (4 years old) through high school are invited to participate in Sunday School which meets after the Children’s Message. We welcome all young people to discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ through this engaging curriculum. YUMC Christian Education program for 2019/2020 begins Sunday, September 22, 2019.

Join us for the first two adventures to start the church program year: Sunday, September 8th is “Blessing of the Backpacks.” At the 10 AM worship, children of all ages, teachers and staff are welcome to bring their backpacks forward for a special blessing. This service will be followed the next week with Kickoff Sunday, September 15th, featuring our annual church picnic, fun & games for all immediately following worship.
